Thursday, 13th February 2025: Do Not Refrain from Allowing Your Home to Be Used for Making Disciples!

Scripture Reading: Acts 16:40
“And they went out of the prison and entered into the house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed.”

Reflections: Lydia’s home became a meeting place for believers, a sanctuary where disciples were encouraged and strengthened. After their release from prison, Paul and Silas returned there to comfort and build up the brethren before continuing their mission. This highlights the importance of opening our homes for God’s work. As followers of Christ, our homes should be more than personal spaces—they should be centers for discipleship, prayer, and fellowship. When we make room for God’s presence in our households, we create an environment where faith is nurtured, lives are transformed, and the gospel advances. Whether it’s hosting a Bible study, praying with family, or offering hospitality to fellow believers, we should willingly dedicate our homes to God’s purpose. Just as Lydia used her home for kingdom work, let us not hesitate to do the same.

Prayer: Lord, Use my home for Your glory, and let it be a light for Your kingdom.

Confession: Through my home, the gospel will be shared, and lives will be changed.
