Scripture Reading: 2 Samuel 6:11-12
“And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household. And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God.”
Reflections: The story of Obededom serves as a powerful testimony to the visible and transformative nature of divine blessings. When the Ark of the Covenant, representing God’s presence, was placed in his house, Obededom and his household experienced remarkable and undeniable blessings within just three months. These blessings were not abstract; they were so profound that others noticed and informed King David. This account reveals that God’s blessings are not only spiritual but also tangible. They bring about a transformation that is both seen and felt, affecting every area of life—family, resources, and influence. Indeed divine blessings leaves no room for doubt; it changes circumstances and elevates livelihoods.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the transformative power of Your blessings.
Confession: I walk in divine blessings that is seen, felt, and undeniable.
