Scripture Reading: Joh 1:46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

Reflections: Nazareth appeared to be a despised little town. As such people like Nathaniel perceived it as place where nothing worthwhile can come from. As a result he felt it was a huge joke for Philip to have introduced the messiah as someone hailing from this obscure place. He was later proven wrong in his line of thinking as he witnessed Jesus function in a supernatural ability that provided information about his earlier location and character without ever having met him. This eventually caused him to proclaim him as indeed the messiah. You may find yourself in a despised environment and consequently despised by people but a supernatural ability extended to you by God will distinguish you and place you among the significant in life. With God, nothing, not even your surrounding environment can limit your rise into the realm of significance.

Prayer: Oh Lord do a new thing in my life that moves me into the realm of significance.

Confession: By God, I rise up to significance in life. Nothing can limit me.
