Scripture Reading: 1Kings 17:24
And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.

Reflection: After praying and petitioning God for the life of the widow’s son, the dead boy came back to life. The power of death was completely broken. Elijah then proceeded to hand him over to his mother. She was amazed and happy to see his son come back from the dead and remarked thus to Elijah, ‘Now I know you are a man of God’. Incidentally, the result of Elijah’s prayers had served as a sign that proved him as a servant of God. Elijah could have overlooked the whole matter and allowed the child to be buried without even praying. This would have made him miss the manifestation of his life as a sign producer. You are a sign producer too as a child of God ( Isaiah 8:18, Mark 16:17). Like Elijah, anytime you move through prayer to do what is out of the ordinary, God is glorified and in addition you are validated as God’s vessel. Rise up in prayer whenever the occasion demands and be a sign producer! ( James 5:17-18). The anointing is upon you.
