Scripture Reading: 1Sam 19:1
And Saul spake to Jonathan his son, and to all his servants, that they should kill David. But Jonathan Saul’s son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself:
Reflection: David was anointed to become King by Prophet Samuel. From that day he found himself walking in his prophetic destiny. His prophetic destiny however came under threat, when he fell out of favor with King Saul. Saul arranged with his household including Jonathan, his son to kill David. This was going to be easy with Jonathan’s connivance since David was always found in his company. But Jonathan chose to remain a destiny helper rather than a destiny killer. With his help, David escaped the evil plans of Saul and kept walking in his prophetic destiny. Sometimes your enemies will seek to turn a destiny helper in your life into a destiny killer. Pray that God will disappoint this move! Your destiny helper will not be turned into a destiny killer!
Prayer: My destiny helper cannot be turned into a destiny killer!
