Scripture Reading: Genesis 3:21
Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Reflection: After they had eaten the fruit that God had forbidden them to eat, Adam and Eve heard God walking in the garden to visit them as usual. Strangely after eating the forbidden fruit, they realized for the first time that they were naked. They could not bear to see God in this nakedness. The only option they had was to run away to hide. Even though God dealt with them alright and drove them away for their disobedience, he still demonstrated his love towards them by providing a covering for their naked bodies. Even in our state of sin, God still demonstrates his love towards us. This is the God we must serve forever and recommend to others. As we celebrate Easter, this unconditional love of God is brought into our focus. Jesus Christ, came into the world to die for us while we were in our sinful state. Paul says it all with his words ‘But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us’- Romans 5:8.
