Saturday, 9th January,2016: YOU CAN PROSPER ANYWHERE
Scripture Reading: Genesis 39: 2-3 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.
Reflection: Sometimes we are made to believe that prosperity is restricted to certain geographical locations. The story of Joseph however debunks this assertion. It shows us that it is what you ‘carry’ that matters. By it, you can prosper anywhere you go! The Hebrew word translated prosper is ‘tsalach’. It means ‘to push forward’. Thus Joseph carried the anointing that pushed him forward in life and made him prosper in all that he did. His Egyptian master saw this as ‘the Lord with him’. He prospered as a slave, prisoner and prime minister! The locations did not matter! Seek to ‘carry’ the ‘tsalach’ anointing. The God of Joseph is your God. Ask him for it! I see you being ‘pushed forward’ in whatever you do and wherever you go. Nothing can stop it. AMEN
