Scripture Reading: Luke 17:4-6
Luke 17:4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Reflections: Jesus lectured his disciples on the important subject of forgiveness. In his submission among others, He established that no matter the number of times someone gets offended by another, they are required to forgive the offender. This points to the fact that God has designed his children with the ability and capacity to forgive others limitlessly. This is the truth that the devil does not want anybody to accept so that he can continue to make bitterness a stronghold in their hearts. Indeed you have what it takes to forgive your offenders. Just turn it on and please God always! Remember, any recipient of divine forgiveness automatically is graced and placed to forgive others (Col 3:13 and Ephesians 4:32). You have a duty to forgive your offenders!
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to live with the consciousness that I have what it takes to forgive others no matter how many times I get offended.
Confession: I am divinely designed with the capacity to forgive those who offend me. I forgive and forget!
