Scripture Reading: Act 18:6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
Reflections: His passion to see the Jews get born again in order to escape hell judgment intensified. This moved him to evangelize the more but they wouldn’t barge. They even resisted him to the extent that he knew it was better for him to concentrate his efforts somewhere else. Before responding to this new conviction, he informed the Jews that God was not going to hold him guilty for their failure to repent and that their blood was going to be upon their own heads. This statement informs us of the danger of failing to witness to people especially when we are prompted by the Holy Spirit to do so. Their blood will be required from us should they fail to make it to heaven. In other words, we shall be held guilty by God. Have you ever thought of how clean (guiltless) you have been?. Like Paul, would you be found clean (guiltless)?
