Scripture Reading: Mat 21:2 …Go into the village ahead of you. At once you will find a donkey tied up and a colt with it. Untie them, and bring them to me.

Reflections:Jesus was headed towards Jerusalem. He made a stop over at Bethphage. He had something up his sleeves that his disciples were yet to discover. He instructed them to get him a donkey from the next village. They were surprised to hear this, especially even with the specific details He provided about the location of the donkey and the password to get it released by its owner. On their return, Jesus rode on the donkey into Jerusalem. It occasioned the event which is now called the triumphant entry into Jerusalem where thousands thronged amidst waving of palm branches and shouts of Hosanna. It is clear that this historic event did not happen by chance. Jesus knew it had to take place as part of his destiny and therefore took time to plan towards it by making the provision of a donkey far ahead of time. You cannot live by chance. Like Jesus, plan your life and proactively work towards achieving it.

Prayer: Dear Lord help me to avoid living by chance.

Confession: I have goals in life. I am proactive to plan and work towards achieving them.
