Scripture Reading: Luke 8:35-36
Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed

Reflections: This was unbelievable before the eyes of the people of the province of Gadarens. They found the man who hitherto had been possessed with demons and could not be controlled now sitting down and having a chat with Jesus. He no longer lived in the tomb. He no longer convulsed. He no longer cut himself with stones. He was even now in cloths and no longer naked. He had completely become normal. It was evident that the people had perceived the man’s condition of insanity as irreversible and had therefore written him off. No wonder they had tied him up in chains and left him to make his living in the tombs. Now here he was having had his condition completely healed and reversed by Jesus. In life, people may write you off thinking that you will never be able to come out of some predicament you find yourself in but God can surprise them. He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think ( Ephesians 3:20). When people write you off, remember that God can count you in. See God count you in regarding any case where people may have written you off. No condition can hold you up forever! Glory hallelujah!

Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you that when people write me off, you will count me in! You are the miracle working God.

Confession: God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I can ask or think. When people write me off, he will count me in! No condition can hold me up forever!
