Scripture Reading: Genesis 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Reflections: God did not create the whole world in one day. He first created day and night, and then followed up with other activities for six days until everything was done. Through this order, God demonstrated a principle for successful living – doing things in order of relative importance. This implies that you must learn to prioritize activities and do “first things first”. E.M. Gray spent his life searching for the one denominator that all successful people share. He found that it wasn’t hard work or astute human relations, although those were all important. The one factor that seemed to transcend all the rest was putting “first things first”. Therefore, if you want to live a successful life, you must put on the mindset of prioritization. Do things in order of relative importance.
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me do things in order of relative importance.
Confession: I do things in order of relative importance.
