I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do your service.

Reflections: The gospel is free, but the platform for bringing its power to people comes with a cost. Apostle Paul sought to drive home this truth to his Corinthian audience. He reiterates that although they had freely heard him preach and benefited from the power of the gospel, his missionary journey had been sponsored by other churches. Thus, without the ample financial support of others, he would never have been able to bring them such free services. Until the preaching of the gospel is supported by adequate financial support, its reach and impact will be limited. Learn to unreservedly and consistently keep giving to your church financially. It is a key means of ensuring that the work of the gospel will not suffer!

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me keep giving to support church work.
