Scripture Reading: Exo 33:14-15 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
Reflections: What sets apart God’s people from others is His presence. Moses recognized this and asked for it. The word “paniyam,” which means “presence,” is derived from the root word ‘pana’ which means “to turn the face toward someone in acceptance and favour. When this happens, the person gains access to divine resources and protection. Like Moses, God’s presence will keep you away from evil and cause you to succeed in your endeavours. You will always need His presence!
Prayer: May the Lord’s presence be with me always.
