Saturday, 25th December 2021: Your steps will be guided divinely!

Scripture Reading: Matt 2:9-10
When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

Reflections: Their eyes were glued to the peculiar brightness of a star. Discerning that it signified that a King had been born among the Jews, the wisemen decided to travel to the land of the Jews. Travelling through unknown territories, they arrived in Jerusalem. They made a stop over at Herod’s palace and understood that the location of the baby was in the little town of Bethlehem. As they stepped out of the palace, they saw the star again. It appeared moving. Joyfully they followed it until it settled over a particular location in Bethlehem and wouldn’t move again. The signal was clear to them. They had arrived at their destination by means of a divine navigation system. Like the wisemen, God will direct your steps and get you into His will all the time. Merry Christmas!

Prayer: Oh Lord, guide my steps into your will all the time.

Confession: I will not miss my way to my destined height. A divine ‘GPS’ will take me there!
