Scripture Reading: Galatians 4:4
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.
Reflections: In his message to the Galatian church, Paul talks about obtaining righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ. He reminded the congregation that Jesus was born under the law to redeem us from its power. He observes that the birth of Jesus occurred not just miraculously through Mary, but also ‘when the fulness of time had come’. This remark implies that Christ’s birth followed a timed plan. One of the essential lessons we can learn from the Christmas story is that God works with a plan and a timeline. As God’s children, we should also learn to create and carry out a work plan with clear deadlines for the goals we set for ourselves. This is due to the fact that success necessitates planning and adhering to deadlines.
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me plan my life and work with timelines.
Confession: I plan my life and work with timelines.
