Saturday, 22nd February 2025: Be an Encourager in the Midst of Challenges!

Scripture Reading: Acts 27:33-34 (KJV)
“And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.

Reflections: Paul and his fellow passengers had been in a violent storm for fourteen days, exhausted and fearful for their lives. Yet, in the midst of uncertainty, Paul encouraged them to eat and assured them of God’s protection. His words and actions uplifted their spirits, bringing renewed strength and hope. Difficult times often bring fear, doubt, and discouragement, but God calls us to be sources of strength to those around us. Paul did not allow the storm to break his faith; instead, he encouraged others to trust in God’s promise. He demonstrated that even in crisis, we can be a voice of hope and a source of practical help. Like Paul, we must choose faith over fear and be intentional about lifting others up. A simple word of encouragement, an act of kindness, or a prayer can strengthen someone going through a tough season.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be a source of encouragement to others, even in difficult times.

Confession: I remain a source of encouragement to others, even in difficult times.
