Scripture Reading: Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Reflections: Boldness was a key feature of the lifestyle of the Apostles. They knew that without it, they were not going to get far with their mission to reach many with the gospel. With boldness, Peter and John healed the lame man at the beautiful gate. This miracle infuriated the rulers who arrested them. Their plan was to intimidate the Apostles to the point of quitting the preaching of the gospel. This strategy failed as the Apostles boldly declared that they were not going to keep their mouth shut. Later when they were released from cells, the Apostles prayed and asked the Lord to increase their level of boldness. God responded by getting them anointed with the spirit of boldness. Boldness is the courage and willingness to take risks and act with innovation. Like the Apostles, boldness will make you unstoppable in the pursuit of your goals in life.

Prayer: Dear Lord, fill me with your Spirit and make me bold in life.

Confession: I am bold. I refuse to be intimidated in life.
