Scripture Reading: Rev 3:21
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Reflections: To overcome is to succeed in dealing with a problem or difficulty. The Lord Jesus reminded the church that just as he faced the trial of life while on earth and overcame, we are required as His children to stay on course as overcomers. He informs the church further that those who maintain an overcoming attitude will be given the privilege of sitting beside Him in heaven. This tells us two important things: First, God doesn’t want quitters in life. Secondly, because He doesn’t entertain quitters, He has provided His children with power to succeed whenever they decide to deal with issues confronting them. You have no business accepting to live a life of defeat. Rise, fight on until victory is won.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you that I am designed to overcome issues of life

Confession: I am not a quitter in life.
