Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 11:33
And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall and escaped his hands
Reflections: The plan to arrest Paul appears to be going as planned by his foes. The army had encircled the entire Damascene city and was closing in on him as they moved from house to house. It was evident that they would soon get to him. Yet, shortly before this could happen, Paul’s hosts came up with a brilliant but strange idea. They found a basket large enough to carry Paul. They then attached a long rope to the basket’s handle and slowly dropped him down to safety through the window. This strategy outwitted the oncoming army. God is wonderful, and He knows how to help you find your way out of a difficult situation.
Prayer: Oh Lord, make a way out for me.
Confession: I am out of every problematic condition.
