Scripture Reading: Rom 9:32
Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone.
Reflections: The Jews, following their laws, perceived Jesus as an obstacle rather than the pathway to eternal salvation. In contrast, the Gentiles viewed Him through the lens of faith and recognized Him as the way, the truth, and the life. While the Jews opposed Jesus, the Gentiles embraced Him and found salvation. From this, Paul illustrates the importance of operating with faith rather than logic to align with God’s counsel. Faith is crucial as it frees you from mere logic and allows you to embrace the divine will. Keep walking in faith.
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to walk by Faith and not by logic.
Confession: I reason with faith and not logic.
