Scripture Reading: Isaiah 11:9
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Refĺections: The prophet Isaiah forsees a future where ferocious animals and poisonous reptiles shall live peaceably with humans. He even notes that the lion will no longer prey on other animals but will eat grass. This phenomenal change, according to the Prophet, will take place simply because the knowledge of the Lord would have affected the whole earth at the time. This posits the transformational power of the word of God since the knowledge of God comes through the knowledge of His written WORD. As long as you submit to God’s written word as the standards you apply to your daily living, change is bound to occur. Simply put, when you allow what you know about God to govern your life, the dramatic change that occurs in your personal life goes a long way to affect other factors around you! Let the WORD remain your RULE in life!
Prayer: Oh Lord, let your word be what rules my life!
Confession: I am changed. God’s word is what rules my life.
