Monday, 7th October 2019: Don’t ever loose it!

Scripture Reading: Psalm 30:5
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Reflections: After encountering the changing scenes of life in his days, David remarkably makes an important discovery- weeping is not forever! Weeping represents challenges and difficulties. By his discovery, David establishes a way of thinking which will position man to live a life of hope in the midst of challenges. Thus when confronted with our ‘weeping moments’ we should not allow the condition to make us think in the negative. We should rather be in expectancy for a breakthrough- the moment of Joy! This will spring up hope in us and urge us to hold on until the desired change occurs. Essentially, the thought that ‘weeping is not forever’ is your key to open the door of hope in your life. It is in your hands. Don’t ever loose it.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you that weeping is not forever. Let my joy be released.

Confession: The door of hope is opened in my life. Weeping cannot last in my life. My joy is coming!
