Scripture Reading:1 Thessalonians 5:21
“Test all things; hold fast what is good.”
Reflections: We are called to live with discernment, wisdom, and spiritual sensitivity to align with God’s will. Paul urges us to “test all things” and “hold fast to what is good.” This means not only evaluating external circumstances but also our choices, behaviors, and influences to ensure they bring us closer to God’s perfect plan. Testing all things requires engaging with our faith through the Word of God, prayer, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. By discerning what aligns with Scripture, we can identify what benefits our spiritual growth and avoid what leads us away from God’s best.
Prayer: Father, help me to test all things in my life, whether they are thoughts, choices, or relationships, and give me the grace to hold fast to what is good.
Confession: I test all things and hold fast to what is good.
