Monday, 6th April 2020:Don’t ever waste your time!

Scripture Reading: Matthew 21:4 -5
All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass

Reflections:The principal street of Jerusalem was heavily packed with people. They were celebrating Jesus as the King of Israel as He rode majestically on a donkey. This, according to the account, was in fulfillment of an old aged prophecy of Isaiah. Evidently, Jesus knew about this written prophetic information about His destiny and had been aligning Himself to it. Analytically, His approach indicated a lifestyle He adopted to enable Him fulfill his destiny – a lifestyle of occupying Himself with information and activities that only had a direct correlation with his destiny. That’s the way to go if you really want to achieve your aims and objectives in life. Like Jesus, stay focused and spend time on what is only essential and relevant. Don’t ever waste your time!

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to concern myself with things that are expedient to my wellbeing and fulfillment of my prophetic destiny.

Confession: I don’t waste my time with what is not in line with the goals and objectives of my destiny.
