Scripture Reading: Proverbs 3:6
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths

Reflections: Your life is like a road that you travel along, and it ultimately leads you to the destination of your choice. Most of these roads have obstructions and therefore pose challenges. As a result, you can be pushed out occasionally to take a different path. Often this can have a detrimental impact on the plans you had. The way out of this scenario, according to the Psalmist, is to acknowledge God. Doing so puts Him in the lead as you journey on. Once in the lead, He directs your pathway. Interestingly the word ‘direct’ translated in Hebrew means ‘to clear the road’. Thus acknowledging God in all you do puts him in charge of your life where He clears obstructions on your pathways, enabling you to get to your destination safely and in time. Put God in the lead!
