Scripture Reading: Mark 5:19
Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

Reflections: Jesus changed the fate of a demon-possessed madman. It was a spectacular sight to behold as he completely became sane again when Jesus cast the demon out. As Jesus got ready to depart from the vicinity, the man expressed the interest to go along with him. Jesus however, declined and requested him to rather go out and share his testimony. The man complied and went into the region of Jordan and parts of Syria to tell everyone he met about what Jesus had done for him and all the people marvelled! This prepared the grounds for more souls to be attracted to the kingdom. Your testimony about how the gospel has impacted your life is needful and must therefore, not be kept to yourself. Much as it helps to create a positive image about the kingdom, it most importantly catalyzes people to make that quality decision to give their lives to Christ too. Don’t just follow Jesus. Get others to follow him too by sharing how your relationship with Him has influenced your life! You do the kingdom more good when you broadcast what impact it has made on your life!

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to share how you have impacted my life with others.
