Scripture Reading: proverbs 15:24
The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

Reflections:The writer of Proverbs draws our attention to two major destinations in life which is determined by how you live your life. He classifies the first destination as a place ‘Above’ and the second as ‘hell beneath’. The place above obviously points to a realm of joy and that of hell beneath speaks of a realm of suffering. How are you living your life now? It is obvious for instance that if you do not practice a savings and investment culture now, your chances of becoming a pauper and consequently a beggar in the future is imminent. You would not want such a future, right? Eternally, these two destinations also awaits people. It is time to allow the standards of your life to be governed by the wisdom of God! The Wise, according the writer of Proverbs, will work his way out of ‘hell beneath ‘ into the realm of life ‘above’ by their way of life!. Certainly, how you live your life will definitely prepare a place for you in the future! Watch out!

Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you for wisdom to live above in life.

Confession: I am wise! My way of life is informed by Godly wisdom. I will never go to ‘hell beneath’.
