Scripture Reading: acts 14:8-10
And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked: The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
Reflections: The crowd had gathered. Paul preached his heart out. In the process, his attention was drawn towards a man. Paul could see that something was happening to the the spirit of the man. It was telling all over his face. Faith to be healed had been generated in his spirit by his response to the word. It was time for the impotency of the feet to leave. Paul therefore commanded him to rise up and walk and he did! It was all over with the limitation in his life. There is no use listening to the word of God without allowing it to generate faith in you. Like the man impotent in his feet, your faith will surely disappoint any appointment of limitation in your life.
Prayer: Dear Lord, may I not just be a listener to your word. Help me to allow your word to generate faith in my life.
Confession: My faith will disappoint any appointment of limitations in my life
