Monday, 22nd February 2021: No condition is hopeless for the word of God to handle!

Scripture Reading: Joh 5:7-8
The impotent man answered Him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

Reflections: He was lying down by the pool. There were many other sick people there besides him. He had been sick for 38 years. He he had hoped that he would be healed by the healing pool just like the others. The pool healed only one person who was first to enter it anytime an angel came around to stir it up. This had thrown up a challenge he could never address. As people forced their way through to be the first to enter the pool, he could not even drag himself to compete with them due to his condition. It appeared he was never going to make it. His hopes remained dashed on rocks until Jesus appeared on the scene. To his amazement, as he responded to the command of Jesus to walk, he was completely restored. You may find yourself in a hopeless condition but the word of God that comes to you has the power to bring the needed change. Just look out for His word anytime the need arises and respond to it with all faith. No condition is hopeless for the word of God to handle.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you that no condition is hopeless for your word to handle.

Confession: My needs are met by the power of the word of God! No condition in my life is hopeless for the word of God to handle.
