Monday, 21st November 2022: Be one with the Holy Spirit!

Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 2:10-11
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Reflections: Israel’s religious leaders made a terrible mistake. Jesus was innocent, but they declared Him guilty and sentenced him to death. Paul made it clear that this mistake was brought about by the officials’ lack of a relationship with the Holy Spirit, whose purpose it is to reveal hidden information to God’s children. ‘The Spirit’, as he puts it, ‘searches and knows all things. As it implies, if the rulers had had a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit, He would have enabled them to discern the divinity of Jesus Christ. It stands to reason therefore, that without the Holy Spirit who guides us into all truth (John 16:13), one will definitely find themselves moving into error although they may be sincere. Deepen your relationship with the Holy Spirit and let Him lead you in the decisions you make.
Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, guide me into all truth so I do not walk in errors.
Confession: Through the help of the Holy Spirit I avoid walking in errors.
