Scripture Reading:Dan 6:22
My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt
Reflections: No one had ever been known to come out of the lions den alive. The accusers of Daniel therefore deemed it a done deal as they succeeded with their evil scheme in getting him to be cast into the lions den. Nonetheless their expectation failed miserably. Shockingly, Daniel was found untouched by the lions and well alive the following morning. He recounted how an angel had entered the den ahead of him and had instructed the lions to keep their mouth shut. The angel, according to Daniel, was sent to his rescue just because God found him to be innocent. To be innocent is to be blameless. It is a righteous character in manifestation. The righteousness of Daniel therefore was the basis for his deliverance. Don’t underestimate the power of righteous living. It is the doorway for divine intervention!
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me keep a focus on righteous living and let it open doors of divine intervention in my life.
Confession: Living righteously is my lifestyle. I enjoy divine interventions.
