Scripture Reading: Matthew 10:1 (KJV)
“And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.”

Reflections: Being a disciple of Jesus Christ comes with a remarkable privilege: access to His delegated power. When Jesus called His disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits and the ability to heal sickness and disease. This power was not their own but a gift to fulfill their divine assignment. As believers, we are called to walk in this same authority, overcoming physical, spiritual, and emotional challenges while bringing hope and restoration to the world. This delegated power reminds us that we are Christ’s representatives, entrusted with His mission of freedom, healing, and deliverance. However, we must stay connected to Him, knowing this power flows from Him, not ourselves.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the power and authority You have given me through Christ.
