Monday, 18th July 2022: Will you be found clean (guiltless)?

Scripture Reading : Act 18:5-6
And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ. And when they opposed themselves and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

Reflections: Paul’s passion for seeing the Jews get born again intensified. This moved him to evangelise more. But the Jews vehemently resisted his message and he had no option than to leave town. In his parting statement, he intimated that God would not hold him guilty if they failed to repent. From this submission, we see how crucial it is for us to share our faith with others. We will be held guilty by God if we don’t. Have you ever thought of how clean (guiltless) you have been?. Like Paul, would you be found clean (guiltless)?

Prayer: Dear Lord, please help me share the gospel with people you bring me into contact with.

Confession: I do not hesitate to introduce Christ to the lost. I am guiltless.
