Scripture Reading; Luke 8:2
And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

Reflections: Jesus embarked on a ministry tour, travelling to cities and villages to spread the gospel’s message. Apart from his twelve disciples, a group of women who had been healed and freed from demonic oppression travelled with him. These women shared a common trait: they willingly and wholeheartedly supported Jesus’ ministry with their financial resources. They understood that ministry work incurred costs and were always prepared to contribute. Just like these women, we must also be willing to devote our resources to further the ministry’s work. This gesture reflects our gratitude to God for the gospel’s impact on our lives and enables the gospel to reach and influence more people.
