Scripture Reading: 2 Peter 3:1-2
This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

Reflections: Peter writes to address the church on the the second coming of Christ. He begins by telling them that his letter was just meant to stir up their minds so they live constantly in remembrance of the second coming of the Lord. One key principle in life emerging from Peter’s submission is that as a matter of necessity there are things that you must never forget in this life. These may include positive things you have been told or have learnt by experience. Such things are so critical that if you tend to forget them, you may end up committing costly mistakes in life. For instance, those who will forget that the Lord Jesus will return to take his own to heaven will never live purified lives. The end result is that they may be left behind. For sure, there are things that you must never forget in life. Be blessed

Prayer: Oh Lord let my mind be stirred up about things I am not supposed to forget in life.
Confession: I refuse any order of the satanic to make me forgetful in life. I arrest the spirit of forgetfulness.
