Scripture Reading: Job 42:12-13
So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. He had also seven sons and three daughters.
Reflections: The possessions of Job were outlined as 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 oxen and 500 she asses at the beginning of his story. These possessions, as the story unfolds, were ‘stolen’ by the devil. However as the story gets to a close we discover that Job had recovered all that the devil stole. Now, his list of possessions boasted of 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 oxen and 1,000 she asses. Remarkably, not only did he recover what the devil ‘stole’, he gained double! The message is clear: Whatever he steals from you, you can take it back! The case of David in Ziklag ( 1 Samuel 30: 17-19) confirms this. The Amalekites stole all that David and his men had. In prayer God assured him of full recovery, restoration and reclaim. Indeed David returned from battle with all that the enemy stole. Rise up in prayer and take back whatever the devil has stolen from you. You are set to recover, reclaim and be restored!
Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you that by your power I can recover, restore and reclaim whatever the devil steals from me.
Confession: I am designed with the power to recover! I take back whatever the devil has ever stolen from me!
