Reflections: Through out his life time, Jesus publicly subscribed to a scripture based life. He lived and confirmed every written WORD of God concerning his life. This often infuriated His critics. One day they decided to take Him on when He told them He was the one that Isaiah 61:1-3 was referring to. Their aim was to kill Him. They held and pushed Him out of the city to the edge of the hill. Just before they could push Him off, He miraculously slipped out of their hands and escaped. Living righteously and in conformity to scriptures may not please some people around you. They may scheme up against you but like Jesus, you will slip out of their evil schemes. Remember, “the righteous person will have many troubles, but the LORD will deliver him from them all’ (Psa lm 34:19)
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me slip out of the traps of my enemies.
Confession: I live a scripture based life. I slip out of the traps of my enemies.
