Scripture Reading: Num 24:2
And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.

Reflections: Israel journeyed towards Canaan, their promised land. As they passed through the land of Moab, danger loomed. Balaam was hired by Balak, King of Moab to curse them. In his bid to do so, something unusual happened. The people of Israel had no idea about it, though. The Spirit of God came upon Balaam and caused him to speak for Israel and to bless them. This was such a shock to Balak. His plan failed miserably. God hasn’t changed! Something unusual will happen on your behalf too. His Spirit will come upon your enemies this year and cause them to favor you and to pursue your interest on your behalf! Just ask God for this miracle! Strange things will surely happen!.

Prayer: Dear Lord, let your Spirit come upon my enemies so they will be moved to favor me!

Confession: The battle is over! My enemies are the ones who speak for me! The Spirit of the Lord has come upon them!
