Scripture Reading:1Sa 9:15 -16
Now the LORD had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying, To morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me.

Reflections: Samuel had a word from the Lord that within 24 hours he would be hosting a young man from the land of Benjamin and that he should anoint him as the king of Israel when he arrives. This young man was Saul. He had no idea at all about this divine decision concerning his life. On that fateful day, his father’s donkeys got missing and he was tasked to go and look for them. His search took him from one town to the other without any success. Unknowingly to him, each town brought him closer to the location of Samuel. Finally he arrives in the 5th town, Zuph ( Samuel’s base) and gives up the search for the lost donkeys. At this point, he was encouraged to see the prophet of the town to help him find the donkeys. This brought him face to face with Samuel. He was shocked to see his anointing service as the king of Israel. So it was not really about lost donkeys. It was a divine set up to bring him into his prophetic destiny. Like Samuel, you will also encounter a divine set up to encounter breakthroughs and to bring you into your prophetic destiny.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I welcome every divine set up to bring me into my prophetic destiny. Just help me to follow as you lead.

Confession: There is a divine set up for my life to encounter breakthroughs and to step into my my prophetic destiny.
