Scripture Reading: 2 Cor. 3:18
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord
Reflections: You can see yourself in a mirror because it reflects your image. It enables you to assess your appearance and make the necessary physical changes. No one looks in a mirror with a veil. It will be pointless. Paul compares the mirror to how God’s message transforms us into Christ’s likeness. Looking into the “mirror” of God’s word shows Christ. As you compare it to your life, you realize you need moral and spiritual reforms to become Christlike. Allowing these adjustments to occur daily elevates you into one degree of glory to the other. Engage the mirror of God!!
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to engage the mirror of your word.
Confession: I progress with my spiritual and character transformation as I engage the mirror of God’s word.
