Scripture Reading: Romans 8:24-25 (KJV)
“For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.”
Reflections: Hope is a powerful force in the life of a believer. It is the confident expectation of what God has promised, even when we cannot yet see it. Paul reminds us that true hope is not based on what is visible but on the certainty of God’s word. If we could see everything now, there would be no need for hope. However, hope must be accompanied by patience. Many times, we pray, believe, and trust God, but the answers do not come immediately. This is where patience is essential. Patience is not just passive waiting—it is enduring with faith, standing firm despite challenges, and trusting that God’s promises will surely come to pass.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I choose to hold on to hope with all the patience, knowing that You are faithful.
Confession: I declare that my hope is in God, not in what I see.
