Reflections: Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem and decided to stop in Bethphage. He had something up his sleeve that his disciples had yet to discover. He instructed them to get him a donkey from the next village. They were surprised to hear this, especially with the specific details he provided about the location of the donkey and the password to get it released by its owner. On their return, Jesus rode on the donkey into Jerusalem. It occasioned the event now called the triumphant entry into Jerusalem, where thousands thronged amidst waving palm branches and shouts of Hosanna. This historic moment was no coincidence, as Jesus had planned it far in advance, knowing it was a pivotal part of his destiny. Follow in his footsteps by proactively planning your life and pursuing your dreams rather than leaving everything to chance.
