Friday, 7th April 2017: You are set on the path for divine healing and miracles!

Scripture Reading: 2Kings 5: 11
And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

Reflections: He had his own way of how he expected his divine healing to take place. He thought Elisha will come out of his room, make some prophetic declarations and then proceed to lay his hand on his body. How can he now be told to go and wash in the Jordan seven times for his leprosy to be cleansed? He felt so angry and walked away. But his servants were quick to intervene. They got him to understand that he must adhere to his specific word of healing. He obliged and true to that word, as he washed in the Jordan, he was completely cleansed from his leprosy. Namaan certainly left Israel having learnt one lesson – it is out of place to carve out the manner you think your healing/miracle should take place. It is rather more important to hold on to your word of healing/miracle! You are set on a path for divine healing and miracles.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I am ready for my healing/miracle.
