Friday, 6th July 2018:You must summon your slanderers to the court of heaven!

Scripture Reading: Psa 7:1 Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite. O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

Reflections: Psalm 7 is a cry of summons by David to the court of heaven in respect of slanderous accusations made against him by Cush, the Benjamite. To slander is to make a false and malicious statement against somebody. It is not clear why Cush took to such a behavior but it could be deduced that he was against the fulfillment of the destiny of David as the next king of Israel. When people are against your position in life and what God has given to you, they fight you with slanderous accusations at the least opportunity. They go ahead to sow discord between you and others. Such slanderous personalities should not be joked with. Like David, you must summon them to the court of heaven through prayer where the Just and Righteous Judge will come to your aid with deliverance.

Prayer: Oh Lord deliver me from every ‘Cush’ in my life. Let them fall into their own traps.

Confession: No ‘Cush’ will ever succeed with their slanderous accusations against my life and destiny. The court of heaven will find them out and deal with them.
