Friday, 3rd February 2017: You must have a regular personal practice of declaring the praises of God!

Scripture Reading: Psa 35:28 And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

Reflection: To declare the righteousness and praise of God is to speak about his nature and his acts. It is a mode you enter into to adore and exalt God. The Psalmist affirms his position on this subject and says he will do it ‘all day long’. ‘ All day long’ is a phrase that speaks of something done regularly. The Psalmist has a regular personal practice of declaring the praises of God. How about you? How regular you take time to exalt God on your own speaks of how deep your love and reverence for Him is. It ultimately leads you to engage God’s attention! Like the Psalmist, make your ‘ praise and worship’ life an ‘all day affair’!

Prayer: Oh Lord, help me to praise you ‘all day long’. You deserve it all!

Confession: My tongue shall not cease to declare the praises of my God. It is my lifestyle to adore and uplift and magnify God.
