Friday, 28th March 2025: Conformity to the Image of Jesus is Key!

Scripture Reading: Romans 8:29-30 (KJV)
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”

Reflections: God’s ultimate purpose for His children is not just salvation but transformation. He has predestined us to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. This means our journey of faith is not only about receiving eternal life but also about being shaped into Christ’s character—His love, humility, obedience, and holiness. The Christian life is a process of transformation. Every challenge, every lesson, and every experience we go through is part of God’s plan to mold us into Christ’s likeness. This is why we must surrender to His refining process, allowing the Holy Spirit to change our thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors. Paul further assures us that those whom God predestined, He also called, justified, and glorified. This means our transformation is not by accident—it is part of God’s divine plan. He calls us, cleanses us, and ultimately leads us to glory.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I surrender to Your transforming power.

Confession: I am being transformed into the image of Jesus Christ.rans4d
