Scripture Reading: Luke 1:26-27
“And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.”
Reflections: The angel Gabriel was sent by God to Nazareth, an unremarkable town, yet God knew exactly where Mary and Joseph were. This reveals that God sees us wherever we are and can reach us with His plans and purposes. We cannot hide or escape from God’s presence. Whether in a crowded city or a quiet, unnoticed place, God knows our location, circumstances, and His purpose for us. Jonah tried to flee from God’s call, but even in the depths of the sea, God found him. David affirmed in Psalm 139:7-10 that no one can escape God’s presence. Don’t ever try to run away from God. Acknowledge His presence wherever you are and invite Him to work in your life. Merry Christmas!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that no matter where I go, Your presence is there to guide and protect me.
Confession: I will not hide from God but trust in His care and guidance for my life.
