Scripture Reading: Psalm 105: 17, 20-21
He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
Reflection: The transaction of Joseph’s life was meant to make sure that his destiny as a ruler will never come to pass. They sold him as a slave. He wallowed in life as a slave in Egypt and eventually ended up in prison. The power of the transaction made over his life seemed to be strong. But one day it was broken by the King of the land of Egypt. He freed Joseph from prison, changed his apparel to that of a royal and appointed him as the governor of the land of Egypt. Joseph was instantly switched back to his ordained destiny as a ruler. They may have sold your destiny but the power of that transaction can be broken. God has the authority to break it. Remember His word is like fire and hammer that breaks rocks (Jeremiah 23:19). He did it for Joseph and He will do it for you. Any spiritual transaction affecting your destiny can be reversed.
Prayer: Oh Lord, let all transactions ever made over my destiny and life be reversed by fire and by hammer!
Confession: The destiny recoverer is my God. I recover whatever was transacted over my life and destiny.
