Scripture Reading: Dan 1:18-19
Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.

Reflections: A group of youngsters were being considered for special positions in King Nebuchadnezzar’s court. Among them were four Hebrew boys named Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. After three years of preparation, all the children were presented to the king for selection. The king was only impressed with the four Hebrew boys, and he found them even ten times better than all his magicians and astrologers in his realm. The king subsequently appointed them to a high royal office. It was clear that this kind of feat achieved by the boys was a product of supernatural favor. Supernatural favor refers to a move by God on behalf of his children, allowing them to receive preferential treatment in life even beyond what is due. Like the Hebrew boys, you too can experience this kind of favor. It will make you stand out from the crowd and give you opportunities to transform your life.

Prayer: Oh Lord, let me have an encounter with supernatural favor.

Confession: I encounter supernatural favors that place me ahead in the race of life.
